Jared and Marla, I’m convinced, are one of the best couples around. The way they compliment each other and the way they invest into the lives of others are things I’ve always admired.

A few years ago, Marla moved to Vancouver and got connected at a young adults church service Jared was attending. Jared noticed her right away, “she immediately started serving; she was immediately gorgeous.” Suddenly he felt the need to start volunteering himself. Then he found himself frequenting the coffee shop Marla worked at. Eventually Jared won her over and they started dating. They bonded over their passion for people, desire for truth, and their ability to disagree and sharpen one another in a healthy way. And with Jared’s old man humour, the two share plenty of laughs (and sometimes others like me get to join in on the laughter!).

In less than a month these two become husband and wife, and I’m so excited to capture it and celebrate the wonderful people they are. The countdown is on :)
