Sarah + Elijah are awaiting their wedding day with much anticipation, while savouring this special season of engagement. Their sweet engagement story is one that I can recite almost by heart, so here it goes:
Elijah took Sarah to Timberline Ranch, a place with many memories for the both of them. Elijah had planned to take Sarah on a hike with a beautiful view. The hike was “technically” off limits, but he told her they could do it. The climb got difficult for Sarah as her asthma kicked in, leaving Elijah to think, “Oh shoot, this is really tough for her. But we’ll go slow and it’ll be worth it, she just doesn’t know it yet.” Sarah got to the point where she couldn’t go any further; chivarly won and Elijah carried Sarah the rest of the way. The two soaked in the gorgeous view at the top, and Sarah gently rested her hand on Elijah’s chest. She looked up at him and said, “Elijah, your heart is beating so fast. You need to work out!” Little did she know why his heart was pounding… and what was in pocket. Elijah said, “I have a question, will you marry me?” as he got down on one knee. Sarah in shock said “What?!” and Elijah had to repeat the question a few more times. But she said YES! And Elijah wasn’t done… there were rose petals leading to a picnic, photo albums, letters, and sweet nostalgia. A perfect day. But I have a feeling another perfect day is on its way for these two come January 2016. Can’t wait!
