Lucas & Raquel’s wedding day is fast approaching, and I’m so glad we were able to squeeze in an engagement session before they tie the knot! Doing photos in Fort Langley was particularly special for them – it’s where Lucas proposed. One chilling morning, after a Boxing Day breakfast, Lucas suggested a walk. They passed by the dock, where Raquel used to row with her rowing team. Lucas said they should go into the boathouse (that just “happened” the be open). Raquel reluctantly agreed. Inside they stumbled upon a picture with the caption, “I have a question.” And with that, Lucas was on one knee, and Raquel’s mind went racing, “This can’t be happening… is this really happening?!” Yes it was! And yes was her answer!
