I couldn’t have asked for a better wedding to cap off my very first wedding season as Alba Photography. Kris & Jenna’s wedding was perfect. The weather, the details, the food, the people, and the promises, all contributed to this beautiful day.
Kris and the lads, after camping that night, spent the morning of the wedding day wake boarding (these boys are crazy!) and then having an extravagant breakfast. The ladies spent their morning get dressed to the nines. A stunning bridal party – see for yourself! What followed was a heartfelt ceremony, an amazing photo session, and a reception filled with stories, community, and dancing. I had a blast with this group. They are such genuine people, full of life and a lot of laughter (I had no shortage of “natural laughter” shots to choose from :P).
Jenna is the head cheesemaker at their family-owned business, and my former employer, Golden Ears Cheesecrafters. The shop has quickly become a local sensation, attracting people from all over the Lower Mainland to taste their delicious cheese. Adjacent to the cheese shop Jenna’s family has a beautiful field, a perfect backdrop for the wedding! Jenna & Kris were married in a tent just outside of the shop. And of course, being in the gourmet food business, their wedding boasted delicious food for all the guests, catered by Big Feast.
Kris & Jenna are beautiful together. I remember when the two of them started dating – 5 years ago! They waited a long time to get married, and it was well worth the wait! From meeting at a bible study, to saying “I do”, they have sowed into one another and now get to look forward to an exciting life together. Congratulations Jenna & Kris! Much love to you both :)
