Meet Ian & Laura. Two very opposite people who somehow fit perfectly together. Two very opposite people who happen to be engaged. And there was A LOT of anticipation leading up their engagement – especially for Laura. They both knew they wanted to get married. And for a season Laura knew the proposal was coming… she just couldn’t handle not knowing when! Laura spent 6 months on-edge and over-analyzing Ian’s every move because she didn’t know when he would propose. Even if he reached for his cellphone in his pocket her heart would start pounding because she wondered if he was getting the ring. And with her superior over-analyzing skills Laura managed to figure out Ian’s proposal plan – twice! Poor Ian, most guys only have to put the thought, time and energy into one proposal scheme, and he had to plan three! Finally Ian had a plan the Laura hadn’t gotten around to discovering. One of the few things that these two have in common is their love for shooting. Although I think Ian had to work on Laura a bit to develop that love in her ;). So the two of them, along with their best friends, went shooting for the day. Ian played it cool and waited till the end of the day so that she wouldn’t be expecting it. It worked. As they were heading back to the truck Ian got down on one knee and caught Laura completely by surprise. And she said YES (her answer wasn’t much of a surprise ;) ).

I’ll be ready with a smile and a camera in hand to photograph Ian & Laura wedding in late August. I’m excited, stay tuned!
